How Can You Change Your Consciousness ? Take Back Your Power

Give up  the idea of following a step by step guide to show you how being present. We all have this power, to decide, to make this conscious choice to cut off Internet and social media to look around us. I am taking the train daily and I see everyone, practically everyone glued to their mobiles.

Why ? because someone smart had this idea to create so much possibility for these tiny or huge mobiles to hold everything : music, calls and an astronomical number of apps that we can do everything with them.

And this is the problem. Instead of connecting with people around us, we connect with this gem of technology and we cannot live without it. Is it really what you’ re going to become ? A slave of the modern technology ?

No, if consciously, you decide to take back your power and to make the choice to cut off social media when you want.

You have this power. Take it back, look around you, all the tiny details that you miss, all the opportunities you can have just by being more conscious, the lightbulb moments of creativity, the inspiring ideas popping in your mind when you do not expect it, discover something new, open your perspective, shift your mindset by challenging the status quo, dance to your heart content, there is so much more out there to live, to enjoy and to appreciate. Make the choice to see it.

You know, we are not kind with ourselves. There is this famous voice working on our fears and limiting beliefs and trying to convince us that staying stuck is safe. But you can SERIOUSLY reduce the power of your ego by taking action and have faith.

Yes, faith. Faith in your skills, your talents, your gifts, in a nutshell Faith in yourself. You have a dream, plenty of desires and you don’t know where to start ? I completely understand you. There is so much out there, how can we differ the good from the bad ? Which person can we trust ?

Your best ally is your intuition. Ask for guidance and your intuition will show you where you need to go to truly change.

Everything is happening for a reason. If you are here reading my post is because you need it, you want to change. You want to be supported, cheered up and celebrate your victories. I went through the same dilemma and it is when I decided to listen, be conscious of my thoughts and feelings that magic happened.

You see, we have been conditioned and our parents as well that life is hard, money is a struggle BUT when you flip these limiting beliefs, you open yourself to something new, different, unknown and exciting.

Are you struggling to eat well ? Let me change your mindset !

We know that we need to eat vegetables, leafy greens. We know that we need to eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables per day. This is what has been advised to us for ages but are we paying attention to what we are eating ? Are we all eating healthy everyday, ensuring that we nourish our body as it should be ? I am not sure. Why ? Because firstly it’s taking time, organisation and willpower to eat healthy constantly. Unsurprisingly we are allowing ourselves a treat day or a treat meal to keep ourselves disciplined. But this is where is difficult : go back to the wagon of the green diet after having enjoyed a tasty and enormous big burger, for instance.

What stopped me to ruin all my good efforts to eat more green during the week is a Ted Talk. A Ted Talk I saw last week explaining to us how food can power up our brain, how a varied and colourful diet can make a difference to our health and life. It’s only when  we heard the experience of others that we truly grasp the urgency to look after ourselves by eating healthy. I absolutely love eating a vibrant, colourful meal in front of me, it’s like celebrating a rainbow in my plate, anticipating to eat this delicious food in front of me. But as I said previously, it’s difficult to keep at it, at least at first. But since I saw this Ted Talk, I am paying attention to eat mindfully and fill my plate with leafy greens and colourful food.

This small change lead to some results which exceeded my expectations. No sugar craving, no need to eat more than necessary, it’s like knowing why I eating in this manner regulates my intake of food to reach a state of balance and harmony. And it is just a small change, sign that we do not need to do big changes but sometimes just taking the time to learn more and change our habits. Fight and bubbles of happiness

Tracy Anderson said : “it’s a real big fight to show up for our physical selves. ” I  will add to it being a woman is like being an Olympics athlete all your life.

For this reason, we need to create several bubbles of happiness, barometer to keep our focus , sanity , joie de vivre. All these bubbles will be efficient if you keep at building them everyday and this is where the challenge lies  : create boundaries to always have some time for yourself is damn hard. Because we have been educated to look after our loved ones, to sacrifice us for them, to do the best for them without telling us that first of all, we need to take care of ourselves as well.

I think it’s only now that emerges this sense of consciousness that we, women, ladies need to have some time for recharge our batteries, pamper,  indulge ourselves to come back stronger, rested and ready to fight. Fight for our family, our friends, our career, our dreams. Fight to achieve our dreams. Fighting to empower ourselves, think outside of the box and pursue our dreams relentlessly.
