Spring means comfort food!


The cracking sound of the cheesy bread when I broke it, the crunchiness of the bread in my mouth…dipping  my bread in a warm and yummy soup is a pleasure without name. It’s a break from the routine, the healthy and the restrictions, it’s a return to the true nature of what is eating : a time to enjoy, appreciate your meal and nourish your body.

I decided to give a try to their new soup and… I  fell in love again with le Pain Quotidien, their ability to create a French onion soup tasty, comforting and mouthwatering in a cozy atmosphere is unbelievable. When it starts to snow and it is so bloody cold !! you have a strong reminder that Spring is a transitional weather, you know that you need to keep  your tights, warm coats and cashmere blankets not too far from you ! However with a temperamental weather like this one, there is still this pleasure to eat comfort, delicious food in a warm atmosphere.
